Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On June 18, 2020, Saira Ramasastry notified Cassava Sciences, Inc. (the “Company”) of her decision to resign as a member of the Board of Directors of the Company, effective immediately. Ms. Ramasastry indicated that her decision to resign was due to a potential conflict of interest and not a result of any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
